What is The Andrew TEAM
When Andrew met Jesus and realized who He was, the first thing he did was to go find his brother and bring him to Jesus, too (John 1:40-42). This is the experience Jesus wants for every one of His follower.
“No sooner does one come to Christ than there is born in his heart a desire to make known to others what a precious friend he has found in Jesus; the saving and sanctifying truth cannot be shut up in his heart…
“And the effort to bless others will react in blessings upon ourselves. This was the purpose of God in giving us a part to act in the plan of redemption.” Steps to Christ p 78, 79.
The Andrew TEAM are lay members who want to share their faith more effectively and lead their relatives, friends, neighbors, classmates and co-workers to accept Jesus, embrace all Bible truths and unite with a vibrant Adventist group.
Anyone believer of any age can join.
The word TEAM is an acronym for Trained, Equipped, Activated and Mentored. Based on the story recorded in John 1:40-42 Andrew TEAM members are Trained, Equipped, Activated & Mentored to SHARE. Andrew TEAM members are trained to share their faith, given resources to assist in their mission, recognized and affirmed (activated) by their local church and mentored regularly in the small group which they join.
